=============================================================
MAJOR ASPECTS
=============================================================

Note: the aspects are presented in a carefully selected order which
reflects their importance in this chart.

Conjunction Moon-Mars, orb = 09°18'
Key words: fiery Moon.
This basically disharmonious combination of planets can express in
various ways - certainly not all bad. Moreover, the native is in no
way fixed in a discordant psychological framework. However, there is
the need for an inner work in order to integrate the opposite values
of the two planets, which will probably be more difficult if the
aspect is tight.
Moon-Mars characters:
*The fiery Moon:
The good side of the combination: Mars adds fire and spice to the
Moon feelings.
Emotional stamina. Hot feelings. Passionate nature. Ardent love.
Burning imagination.
Can become extremely enthusiastic about projects or people.
Can experience hot levels of devotion when engaged in a spiritual
path.
*The restless, 'venom in the soup' Moon:
Agitation. The Moon propensity for chaos supported by Mars'
dynamism.
Compulsive activity which is not always productive. Mars' direction
swamped in Moon malaise.
Has difficulty finding peace in meditation - the mind never seems to
let go of thoughts. Restless emotions.
Never satisfied - it's never good enough. Pain in the neck
character.

Sextile Sun-Mars, orb = 05°48'
Key words: will power, born warrior.
Sun and Mars are the two planets of fire. In a major aspect, they
reinforce each other in a combination for will power and direction.
*The Sun-Mars warrior character:
Born fighter, innate need to conquer.
Self confidence.
Ambition, need to succeed, to reach the summit, to be the number
one.
The Sun stands for the heart, Mars for the will and action; the
combination gives the ability to really put one's heart into what
one is doing. It also introduces drive into the very core of
oneself.
*The leader character:
Mars' fire enhances the leadership qualities of the Sun.
Need to shine, to be the number one.
In the case of trines and sextiles, there is an element of flow
which indicates less 'grasping' than in the case of squares or
oppositions.
*Need for perfection and the absolute.
*Hot blood
Sun-Mars is the most fiery of all planetary combinations.

Sextile Mars-Jupiter, orb = 00°57'
With an orb of only 00°57', this aspect is significantly tight.
Moreover, Mars is strong in this chart.
This aspect therefore plays a significant role in the chart.
Key words: a great Jupiterian with no shortage of Mars. Man/woman of
action. Wizard in the making.
Jupiter has an affinity with the number 6, which reinforces the
power of sextiles to Jupiter.
The fire of Mars kindled by Jupiter's high winds. Jupiter's outgoing
values reinforced by Mars' stamina.
Mars-Jupiter characters:

*The great Jupiterian with no shortage of Mars:
Enthusiasm, outgoing personality.
Daring, adventurous.
Ambitious, enjoys challenges in life.
Attraction towards sports and outdoor activities.
Likes action, and can be extremely industrious. Likes to do things
in large measure. Possibly a workaholic combination.
Entrepreneurial. A powerful combination for business.
Mars and Jupiter are the two planets of leadership. Aspires to be in
positions of responsibility, and has what it takes to reach them:
self confidence, work capacity and drive. People with a strong
Mars-Jupiter aspect can well have an 'army general' character which
feels most alive when in situations of combat or challenge.
Capacity to innovate, to go further, to take things beyond their
present limits.
Direct, straightforward personality. Possibly somehow impulsive.
*The Mars-Jupiter great traveller:
Transposes the Jupiterian need for expansion into physical journeys.
Sense of adventure.
Can be unstoppable.
*Will power - a wizard in the making:
Beyond the need for conquering, power and leadership, there is a
seeking of the Will, in the metaphysical meaning of the term. The
native is on the way to becoming a wizard, at a stage when the will
is still mainly applied on the physical level. The more one can
develop the philosophical sides of Jupiter instead of just living
within a materialistic framework, the more the will can evolve
towards its next, spiritual direction.
At the same time, there comes a warning. The native has will. If
this will is used only for selfish purposes, it may take him/her
into a crystallisation of the selfish little ego - a first step
towards the abyss, and also possibly a certain withering. The more
the will can be directed towards greater purposes of service, the
more it has chances of growing like a huge Jupiterian tree, and the
more the native is likely to find meaning and genuine satisfaction
in their life.

Conjunction Mercury-Venus, orb = 02°15'
A harmonious combination of planetary forces.
It brings lightness, youthfulness, flexibility, joyfulness.
Sensitivity, artistic abilities, sense of aesthetics - the Mercurian
mind taking up Venusian sensuality.
Mercury likes to communicate, Venus adds softness. The associations
suggests diplomatic skills; the native knows how to ease tension and
create a space of harmony in which communication can flow.
The native gets along well with young people.
On a higher, spiritual, level, Mercury and Venus are two planets of
connection with angelic beings. The conjunction may therefore
indicate the potential for spiritual connections of an extremely
high level - but that will probably not appear much until the native
follows a serious work of spiritual transformation.
In most cases, however, a Mercury-Venus conjunction is not extremely
significant in itself, for two reasons. Firstly, Mercury and Venus
are fast moving planets, never extremely far from each other, so
that the conjunction occurs relatively often. Secondly, both planets
can change their characteristics dramatically depending on which
other planets they are aspected too.
Significance will come more from other aspects contracted by Venus
and Mercury. Conjunctions usually indicate accumulations of forces.
By itself, a Mercury-Venus does not accumulate much. If however,
other planets are either conjunct or otherwise aspected to Mercury
and Venus, then there may be significant reinforcement of these
other connections.

Conjunction Sun-Jupiter, orb = 04°51'
Key words: the king, great solar Jupiterian. Direction: Higher Ego.
If you miss it: dictatorial little ego.
Sun-Jupiter is perhaps the brightest and luckiest of all planetary
combinations.
Imparts a number of Jupiterian features to the personality:
-Enthusiasm, optimism.
-Broad-mindedness.
-Broad ideals. Capacity to do things in large measure.
This is an aspect of fullness, and maturity.
The Sun reinforces self confidence, self trust, belief in oneself
and trust of one's ability when facing difficult situations. Sense
of loyalty, dignity, noble disposition, high sense of leadership and
rulership. It would be an excellent aspect for a king!
*Exaggerate characters:
A Sun-Jupiter character is likely to have an inclination for doing
things in large measure.
It is a 'too-much' association, which by nature may well have a
tendency to exaggerate at times.
Rather than one exaggerating character, it may be an exaggeration of
a number of characters, and of various features in the personality.
*Direction: Higher Ego.
Within the palette of soul forces, the Sun-Jupiter is one which
tends towards the Ego. The higher and more philosophical sides of
Jupiter are enhanced by the Sun. Jupiter is reminded by the Sun that
its need for expansion is unlimited and will never be satisfied by
anything less than a full spiritual realisation. This can be a 'high
quest' aspect.
*The danger of a bloated little ego:
At the same time, this clear direction towards the Higher Ego is
very much needed because, with this aspect, the little ego side of
the Sun could also be bloated in Jupiterian proportions. There is
the potential for egotism in large measure with pride, ostentation,
arrogance. There is likely to be at least some periods in the
person's life when the little ego will aim at becoming dictatorial.
*There may also be, at times, personality clashes, conflicts with
figures of authority and with hierarchy in general.

Conjunction Jupiter-Pluto, orb = 08°04'
all beings - there has to be some special accumulation of power,
material and occult, in this combination.
It gives great magnetism, presence, charisma and capacity to
influence others.
It also gives a deep, intuitive understanding and power over the
forces of money.
In terms of energy, this can be seen as a power in the lower chakras
which can draw forces (including money) and people to itself.
Through their Pluto force, the native can hold vast resources in
his/her sphere of influence.
Pluto acts as the power of a black hole, drawing in and containing
what Jupiter might otherwise spread and release.
Think of Mick Jagger who, apart from earning 25 million dollars in
the nineteen-seventies, wonderfully incarnates the irresistible
underground magnetism of a Jupiter-Pluto conjunction.
The native is a born wizard, and a good part of the challenge in
this incarnation may be to discover where this power is to be
applied.
The Jupiter Pluto association is also one that can take you into the
abyss. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. A
Jupiter Pluto aspect can be experienced on the 'Godfather' mode, and
draw the native into a world of financial and power intrigues. The
magnetism becomes manipulation. The Jupiter radiation is boosted by
Pluto to gain always more power and control - the dark side of
Pluto.
Pluto, especially when it gains dimension, can always be used either
for summits of regeneration or for destruction in great measure.

Conjunction Sun-Pluto, orb = 03°13'
A Sun-Pluto conjunction tends to impress the features of Pluto on
the native's personality: intense and needing intensity, magnetic,
deep, passionate, mysterious.
The Sun stands for the deepest in an individual; Pluto is the planet
of death and resurrection.
Some major transformations may be expected in this life. It can be a
total change of social, philosophical and spiritual horizons. In any
case the person's psyche is likely to undergo a radical turn at
least once during the incarnation.
This may come gradually, through a process of transformation, or be
brought about by some more sudden or even dramatic circumstances.
The more the native can understand and accompany the underground
forces that are pushing for change, the more the transformation can
be harmonious. If however, these underground forces are ignored,
then the transformation may turn into a painful metamorphosis in the
midst of tidal-wave changes in their material situation. Pluto
rarely does THINGS in half measures.
A feature essential to Pluto, however, is that it can come out
resurrected and more beautiful than ever from life circumstances
that would permanently shatter other individuals - like the phoenix,
reborn from its ashes.
There is in the Pluto-Sun combination an element of phenomenal
resistance and solidity which allows one to cope with infinitely
more than the average person can take. Even if they appear frail,
they have the potential to survive holocausts. Even if they appear
to be shattered, they will stand again, renewed and greater, at the
end of the turmoil.
Whether the aspect is harmonious or not, what is good about the
Sun-Pluto combination is that it is never shallow. It
counterbalances any other planetary combination of superficiality.
The native can go fully into things. His/her interests tend to be
consuming passions. (Pluto needs either to consume or be consumed.)
There is in Pluto an aspect of quest and seeking.
As soon as you see someone with an intense Pluto, you immediately
know that they are seeking something. The problem is of course that
it may take some time for the native to discover what it is that
he/she is searching for.
There is in Pluto an aspect which draws towards mysteries, a
fascination for that which is hidden. This can manifest in a
Sherlock Holmes way - the investigation of enigmas of various kinds.
On a higher level, it can also prove one of most solid foundations
for a long lasting spiritual quest.
Whether it shows or not, it is likely that a high pressure of
intensity is at work within the native's psyche. Their emotions are
like nuclear explosions, but often underground ones, so that even
their closest friends may not realise what is happening in them.
Sometimes the intensity is so deep and hidden that the native
himself/herself may not completely acknowledge it.
If you think of the Sun-Mars combination as relating to the will par
excellence, and of Pluto as a transcended Mars, you can imagine the
potential of power that is contained in the Sun-Pluto association.
How much the native will come in touch with this potential depends
on whether he/she will be able to face himself/herself and
comprehend the abysmal intensity that lies within.
Many people with a strong Pluto have a full, intuitive,
understanding of their emotional self, and extremely sharp insights
into others. However, just as Pluto abducted Persephone underground,
so the Plutonic temperament can also have an amazing ability to hide
feelings even from themselves. When this is the case, then entire
parts of the personality can be eclipsed, and the native can walk on
the planet for decades without ever getting in touch with them. This
results in particular in their purpose in life (Sun) remaining
completely hidden, until such time as a massive transformation
period.
If your partner has this aspect, then be ready to match their
intensity. Something in themselves will starve if they perceive you
as shallow and unable to meet them. Perhaps you need to discover
your own Pluto side and learn to relate to them on this deep level.
In any case, do not expect to be taken seriously by them if you can
never display a certain 'voltage' of belly force.
You may also play an extremely positive role in their life by
facilitating the discovery of the hidden facets of themselves. Pluto
must transform or die, or often both at once. But the dramatic or
even tragic side of the transformations could often be significantly
alleviated if the person was able to get in touch early with the
'eclipsed' parts of themselves - those which will push for drastic
changes in order to reveal themselves. The more the native can
consciously give birth to these hidden parts, the less there is a
need for painful transitions.

Opposition Jupiter-Nth Node, orb = 07°34'
Conjunction Jupiter-Sth Node, orb = 07°34'
Jupiter conjunct to the Dragon's Tail points to past lives in which
the Jupiterian values were at the forefront. This can mean different
things:
- The native has done a lot of travelling in past lives.
- Past lives with spiritual-religious or philosophical interests.
- Past lives oriented towards trade and commerce.
The main possible pitfall of Jupiter is over-expansion, not knowing
the limit. South Node is 'the' karmic object in a chart, and for
some people, something will have to be healed here. Having
exaggerated in large measure in past lives, an individual could
arrive in this one either with extravagant tendencies or,
conversely, with an inhibited Jupiter (in reaction to the past).

Square Jupiter-Black Moon, orb = 03°50'
Key words: Jupiter sharpened by the Black Moon, or bogged in the
shadow.
Jupiter can greatly benefit from the sharp, exacting nature of the
Black Moon. The need for perfection and the absolute, which is
inherent to the Black Moon can give direction to Jupiter's values of
expansion and growth, and thus help it gain momentum and achieve in
the world.
With this aspect, your Jupiterian power of material realisation
depends a great deal on your clarity of purpose and your sense of
integrity. If there is no truth for you in a project or a particular
job, better not waste you time on it; your Jupiter enthusiasm would
refuse to support you in it, and you would be likely to achieve but
mediocre results. Conversely, when you feel that truth is on your
side, you can find deep inner resources that make you unstoppable.
Another possible scenario with this aspect is that the shadow side
of the Black Moon, i.e. deep psychological conflicts buried in your
subconscious mind, obliterate the expansion power of Jupiter. Put in
simple terms, this means that if you have difficulties achieving
anything substantial in the material world, it could well be because
the power of your subconscious and unconscious mind is in the way.
This can mean that a thorough exploration is needed. But for some
people, it can be the opposite: too much self-exploration renders
the shadow more invalidating! Rather than a simple formula, what is
needed here is the establishment of a harmonious relationship with
the unconscious parts of your mind.

Opposition Pluto-Nth Node, orb = 00°29'
Conjunction Pluto-Sth Node, orb = 00°29'
Pluto conjunct South Node points towards past lives in which intense
transformations have taken place. This may have involved heavy
crises (Pluto's natural evolutionary mode), and even possibly a
complete disintegration of some aspect of the personality.
From there, a few different situations are possible:
1) The transformations are now complete and a new, fresh cycle of
lives is starting. With the juvenile enthusiasm of a renewed soul,
the native can leap into a new evolutionary future, free from all
the heavy bondages which have been dropped in past lives.
2) The transformation is complete, but it has left scars. The
Plutonic way the metamorphoses occurred in past lives has resulted
in deep samskaras, perhaps in relation to violent situations,
dilemmas or conflicts. Before one can step into the future, one
needs to heal the wounds through a technique of exploration such as
ISIS. Otherwise, skeletons in the cupboard will prevent the person
from breathing freely in this life.
3) The lessons of the past have not been learned; the
transformations have been carried out incompletely. This can be a
'heavy karma' combination, where barrels of Chestnut Bud (the Bach
Flower for those who are slow to learn life's lessons) may not be
enough to prevent a sequel of disillusionment in this incarnation.
*The wizards:
A conjunction of Pluto to the nodes can also bring a completely
different level of symbolism - that of a great magician. Pluto and
nodes make an ultra-magic cocktail. Each time a Pluto-Node
conjunction take place, a wave of powerful wizards incarnate on
Earth.
The Pluto-South Node combination also evokes the possibility of
having misused the power in a past life, or even to have dabbled
with the dark side of the force. This, however, is in no way
absolute. So great white magicians can also incarnate with a
Pluto-South Node conjunction.

Sextile Moon-Mercury, orb = 05°50'
Key words: receptivity, memory, imagination, access to the
unconscious.
*What the astrological tradition says:
The Mercury-Moon combination is regarded as good for imagination and
memory.
The Moon brings receptivity to the mind.
The imagination can be related to Mercury having access to
subconscious material (Moon).
Possibly feeling (Moon) other people's thoughts.
*As far as we are concerned:
Moon-Mercury is part of the 'chameleon' combinations which do not
have a strong 'flavour' of their own. It is likely to give
completely different results depending on which other planets are
aspected to it. In a number of cases, the Moon-Mercury association
may not even modify these other aspects very much.

Square Moon-Saturn, orb = 00°23'
Because its orb is only 00°23', this aspect is very tight.
This aspect is therefore very powerful.
Key words: many good sides of Saturn, practical sense, self control,
persistence; but also possibly a certain deep inner sadness.
Not a harmonious combination: the Moon's watery softness and fertile
symbolism may suffer from too close an association with the
structured and dry Saturn.
*Many of the positive qualities of Saturn:
Practical. Moon tendency to chaos fully counterbalanced and
reorganised by Saturn.
Sense of emotional structure (as opposed to Moon scatteredness).
Self control, self discipline, restraint, tact, calmness.
Seriousness, reliability, dependability.
Persistence. Honesty, straightness.
Simplicity, frugality, good at saving, thriftiness.
Good with figures (a great combination for accounting).
Being an aspect of manifestation, the square helps to use these
qualities dynamically and achieve practical realisations with them.
*The cold Moon character:
Sadness. Feeling (Moon) cold (Saturn) and/or cold feelings.
Loneliness, aloneness. Episodes of depression. "Sometimes I feel
like a motherless child" (mother = Moon, Saturn = separation).
Lack of affection at key times of their past, in particular
childhood. Poor little child character. Painful memories of the
past.
A child with such a combination should be flooded with affection and
warmth. But can they take it? There is a tendency to isolate oneself
and not allow love to reach through.
Working on yourself: look for the inner child.
A Moon-Saturn major aspect often calls for the healing of the child
inside you, and of the deep sadness it carries. Learn the Moon
values of playfulness. Indulge in joy, not in sadness.
Do not necessarily blame your parents for your present moods. With
Moon-Saturn, these might well be exactly the same even if you had
had fantastic parents.
Learn to give more love, but even more important, learn to receive
it. Allow other people's warmth to reach you.
Learn to receive love from the cosmic Mother.

Square Moon-Neptune, orb = 00°35'
Because its orb is only 00°35', this aspect is very tight.
This aspect is therefore very powerful.
Exceptional sensitivity, highly plastic and changeable, psychic
abilities.
The Moon is related to water and earth elements. Neptune raises its
level of vibration from down to earth to more imaginative and
spiritual dimensions.
*Moon-Neptune: 2 watery energies combining into the most sensitive
of all planetary blends.
Fantastic imagination.
Intense dream life (superlative dreaming, even with eyes wide open).
Easy access to the unconscious.
Dreams of ideals. Romantic dispositions. (Think of John Lennon,
Moon-Neptune trine). Can become emotionally indulgent at times.
Highly plastic (superlative water).
Impressionable mind.
Highly changeable and multifaceted personality.
Potential for great compassion. Ideals of love.
*Extremely psychic:
The plastic psyche is particularly good at tuning into things and
people.
Good at opening.
Visions and psychic abilities through great opening - if one can go
beyond the vagueness.
Angel connections.
Need for merging.
Edgar Cayce, the sleeping prophet, had a Moon-Neptune conjunction in
the Midheaven.
Possible pitfalls of the Moon-Neptune association:
Difficulty separating the conscious from unconscious material.
Self-delusion. Confusion. Dreaming beyond limits.
The dreaming can become escapism, and the person may withdraw into a
reality of his/her own.
Danger of fooling oneself.
(In terms of the Clairvision work, this is a combination for
'missing bits'.)
Both the Moon and Neptune are, by nature, better at blending than at
doing. If there is not a push from other planets (the Moon-Neptune
of Cayce was trine a Mars-Jupiter conjunction), there may be a
danger of sinking into a purely introverted disposition without
concrete realisations.
*The Moon-Neptune combination can result in prepersonal features:
Old, atavistic clairvoyance.
The need for opening and merging.
Tendency to form symbiotic relationships. May find it difficult to
discern if what one feels comes from oneself or from other people,
that is, discern between your emotions and someone else's .
Risk of acting as a sponge for the vibrations of the environment, in
particular the astral environment. If the person experiences being
swamped by doom and gloom without any apparent reason, it is likely
they need to learn how to protect themselves better from their
energetic environment, and more generally from the global
fluctuations which regularly sway the consciousness of the planet.
Unclear sense of one's own boundaries.
Difficulty in self-differentiation. Unclear sense of one's own
identity.
Famous people with a major Moon-Neptune aspect : Johann Sebastian
Bach (conjunction).

Conjunction Saturn-Neptune, orb = 00°59'
With an orb of only 00°59', this aspect is significantly tight.
Also notice that the planetary latitude of Saturn (-02°04') is very
close to that of Neptune (-01°43'). This means that the two planets are
not only conjunct in longitude but also in latitude
This aspect therefore plays a significant role in the chart.
Key words: depth, inspiration, artistic and spiritual tendencies.
The combination has excellent sides: Saturn counteracts the possible
blurriness associated with Neptune, and provides a structure to
receive Neptunian inspiration in a conscious, useable way - not just
in the form of vague dreams as is always the danger with Neptune.
Great values of inspiration, artistic and spiritual, can correspond
to this aspect, as well as compassion (Neptune) with wisdom
(Saturn).
The Neptunian idealism also can only benefit from Saturn's structure
and capacity to make things concrete. For instance Gandhi (grand
trine Saturn, Neptune, Moon) who was able to inspire a
spiritual/cultural movement with his ideals.
Possible drawbacks of the association could be a certain coldness
(Saturn and Neptune are both cold planets). In the same symbolic
line, ascetic tendencies.
However, Saturn and Neptune are both slow planets. Aspects between
them last for several months, and therefore appear in the chart of
anyone born during these months. This means that they are not
necessarily very specific, that is, significant in an individual
chart, unless Saturn or Neptune are aspected to other planets or to
the angles.
Characters related to the Saturn-Neptune combination:
*The Saturn-Neptune musician/artist:
This combination of planetary forces can give great musical
abilities.
Sense of harmony - Neptunian harmony combining with Saturnian sense
of structure. 'Harmony of the spheres' (celestial non-physical
music) combination. Intuitive perception of structures and
archetypal forms behind music, and delight in their contemplation.
Depth of connection.
Power of concentration. But at the same time, with depth and not
with a narrow focus. Capacity to embrace vast topics.
*The Saturn-Neptune ascetic/mystic (a much rarer type, in its full
extent):
The Hermit of the Tarot deck.
Fantastic insights and mystic connections. Can spend years in
meditation/contemplation. Deep sense of the cosmic harmony in the
universe.
A St-John of the Cross combination.
For the potentially not so good sides of this character:
Macrobiotic fanatic. Brown rice in large measure.
Contempt for the senses and for sex. Danger of self-denial through
restrictions and/or celibacy in the name of spirituality.

Trine Saturn-Uranus, orb = 03°26'
The combination between Saturn and Uranus appears to us basically
favourable, even in the so-called conflictual aspects (square or
opposition).
Uranus' impetuosity may bring some tension in the Saturn make up of
the individual - but that is certainly not bad. Who wants to be
walled in a conventional, earthly, idiotic type of Saturn?
(Certainly not Uranus.) Uranus will dynamise Saturn, break through
its heavy routines, bring spice to it with original and even at
times unconventional ideas and impulses.
Uranus' tendency to be unstable and over-eccentric will only benefit
from Saturn's cooling effect and structure.
Moreover, mental structure is always a challenge in a chart with a
strong Uranus. Uranus brings a high degree of intuition, but if it
is not supported by Saturn, this intuition may well remain vague and
never find an outlet to express itself in a concrete fashion.
The aspect is of course excellent for anything which has to do with
science and technology.
It should be remembered that Uranus and Saturn are both slow moving
planets. Any aspect between them will therefore appear on the chart
of everyone on the planet for months. As such, the aspect has
individual significance only if it is supported by aspects to other
planets in the chart.

Trine Saturn-Black Moon, orb = 06°49'
Aspects between the Black Moon and Saturn are powerful, in
particular because of the affinity of the two objects (in the
Kabbalah, Lilith is related to the planet Saturn).
The Black Moon's aspiration for perfection and the rigorous,
exacting nature of Saturn reinforce each other. The combination can
result in an extreme need for purity. If Saturn is strong in the
chart, this is an aspect for brown rice and a carefully selected
diet (not one mouthful in excess), and great cleanliness in general.
There is a profound need for inner clarity. This also has to do with
the fact that at times, Saturn can get locked in the shadow side of
the Black Moon. Unless great inner clarity has been achieved, this
may result in phases of gloomy depression.
On the higher mode, both the Black Moon and Saturn are potentially
very wise. They both have depth and reinforce each other in
intensity. Combined with Saturn's inherent structuring power, the
sharpness of Black Moon can flourish in intelligence and wit. The
result is a N.B.Y. (Not Born Yesterday) person who cannot be fooled
by appearances and knows how to respond to all situations.

Trine Uranus-Neptune, orb = 02°28'
An aspect of a generation: Uranus and Neptune are very slow planets.
Aspects between them therefore last for years, and are therefore not
specific (that is, not meaningful on an individual level), unless
aspected to other planets or to the angles.

Trine Neptune-Black Moon, orb = 05°50'
An aspect which can strongly reinforce the mystical nature of
Neptune, and add metaphysical dimension to its inspiration. The
combination can be highly prophetic.
But with Neptune, things always run the risks of remaining blurry -
especially knowing that Black Moon relates to the depths of the
unconscious. It is only when someone has done the inner work which
allows them to realise the spiritual potential of Neptune that the
support of this aspect to Black Moon can be experienced.
The more Neptune is aspected to other planets in the chart, the more
this aspect will be significant, adding a Black Moon touch to the
personality: sharpness, inner depth and need for perfection (which
combines with Neptune's idealism).

Opposition Sun-Nth Node, orb = 02°43'
Conjunction Sun-Sth Node, orb = 02°43'
Past life in which the values of the Sun played an important role:
- leadership;
- shining;
- spirituality.
The Sun stands for both the Higher and the little ego. If the latter
aspect of the Sun was the one involved, South Node conjunct Sun can
indicate that, as a result from past lives, the person now has to
deal with a sense of self importance and other traits akin to pride
and arrogance.
On the positive side, Sun conjunct South Node may mean past lives in
which one has really used one's heart for giving and shining. This
may now be used as a foundation for further growth.

Conjunction Uranus-Black Moon, orb = 03°23'
The Black Moon reinforces the independent and original nature of
Uranus. If well aspected to the rest of the chart, it can be an
extremely creative aspect.
Black Moon - Lilith and Uranus have a number of features in common:
taste for independence, dislike of routines and anything which can
perceived as enslaving constraints, affinity with original things,
and a rebel - if not rebellious - nature. (In Kabbalistic mythology,
Lilith was Adam's first wife. She rebelled and left him because she
did not want to be subjected to his control.)
On the lower mode, this aspect can enhance the potential
restlessness associated with Uranus and make it difficult for the
native to stick to long term enterprises or follow any kind of
discipline.
On the higher mode, the sharpness and originality of Black Moon will
reinforce the imagination and creativity of Uranus.
On an even higher mode, the metaphysical depth of the Black Moon
combines with Uranus in the chart of great visionaries such as Sri
Aurobindo (Mars, Uranus, Black Moon conjunct in the 12th), or Edgar
Cayce (opposition). Think also of the depth of vision of people such
as John Kennedy (opposition), or Steven Spielberg (opposition).

The Sun in the house of sex, the money that comes to you without you
having to earn it, and the occult.
This position highlights the importance of the values of the 8th
house in the native's life.
In particular for someone following a spiritual path, Sun in the 8th
can bring magnetism and a natural affinity with, and intuitive
understanding of occult mysteries.

Mercury in the 8th house:
The planet of the mind in the house of sexuality, mysteries,
magnetism, and the occult.
Mind attracted to the mysteries. Likes secrets. Likes to
investigate. Likes to get to the bottom of things and find answers
behind veiled situations. (Being in the 8th gives Mercury a
Pluto-ish hue - magnetic.)
If Mercury is strong in the chart, it can indicate a strongly occult
energy, as in Hermes/Thoth, lord of Hermeticism, and initiator into
the mysteries.

Venus in the 8th house:
The planet of sensuality in the house of sex, inheritance and the
occult.
A very sensual position which is in favour of a strongly sexual
nature. But how exactly it will manifest will very much depend on
which level the native experiences the values of the planet.
Venus can be 'Aphrodite of all the people', pushing not for a
multiplication of sexual experiences. Sexually related vibrations
are the natural way for the person to connect with people.
On a higher level, Venus is the 'Celestial Aphrodite', leading
towards a quest for merging through sex, which is perceived as a
spiritual experience.
According to the astrological tradition, this is one of the most
favourable positions for receiving an inheritance. If the Venus is
supported by good aspects, there can be financial windfalls. It is
also considered that the fortunate nature of Venus is in favour of a
peaceful death.
In the house of the occult, Venus can indicate a capacity to connect
with angels and high spiritual beings.

Jupiter in the 8th house:
The lucky planet in the house of the money that comes to you without
you having to earn it can prove a VERY happy configuration. It's the
ideal position for sudden windfalls - lotto, (big) inheritances,
sugar-daddies and benefactors, wealthy marriages and successful
settlements.
Watch the transits of Jupiter and buy lotto tickets accordingly
(every 12 years, in particular, when Jupiter returns to its position
in the natal chart, there are a few months during which the native
could be outrageously lucky).
With Jupiter in the 8th, however, the native should exert caution
with gambling and speculating, as Jupiter is the planet for getting
carried away. Wait for your luck, don't tempt it!
In the house of sex, Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius (the centaur,
half beast, half man), can indeed bestow a rare potential.
In the house of death, Jupiter is classically associated with a
fortunate and painless death, even though it could also mean death
in Jupiterian conditions, e.g. while travelling.
In the house of occultism and the hidden mysteries of nature, it is
time to remember that Jupiter also stands for the guru, the
hierophant, the third eye. This position can therefore be extremely
favourable for esoteric studies and connections with high spiritual
beings.

Pluto in the 8th house:
The planet of magnetic intensity, power and sex and in the house of
death, the occult and sex.
Pluto is here in its own domain, which magnifies its intensity and
magnetism, and also tends to give it an occult orientation.
There is likely to be a fascination with sex, at least during
certain periods of life. The person is instinctively in touch with
the energetic aspect of sex, and can well have magic experiences
through sex. Sex can also be the trigger for realisations and inner
transformations.
When in the 8th, Pluto (even more than Mars) is likely to indicate
healing capacities. The native knows how to tap into deep,
underground energies and forces to bring cure and regeneration.
Excellent for dowsing ley-lines and tuning into Earth energies.
Capacity to understand the hidden powers behind Nature. And also an
innate desire to investigate them and find out the secrets behind
creation - the 'instruction notice'.
Interest in the occult side of life, death and mysteries in general.
The Pluto concept of death and regeneration is likely to be
particularly important and meaningful to the person. It can
emphasise Pluto's tendency to undergo dramatic metamorphoses.
Capacity to use one's will towards regeneration in the midst of
intense crises.
Last but not least, Pluto in the 8th is one of the positions deemed
favourable for inheritances and windfalls.

7th house: Saturn, Neptune.

Saturn in the 7th house:
The planet of structure and limits in the house of the partner.
This position may indicate 1) a partner having the qualities of
Saturn, 2) a Saturn way of behaving in one's relationships.
1) Serious, reliable, responsible partner. Possibly mature, older,
partner.
2) Solid, stable, enduring relationship. The kind of relationship
where partners work at making it work. Or relationship due to common
interests rather than passion.
Possibly, the relationship starts late in life.
Saturn in the 7th can call for an active attitude which seeks to
counteract some of Saturn's weak points: making efforts to maintain
the level of fun, originality and warmth - in which case the
relationship could really have the best of both worlds.

Neptune in the 7th house:
The 7th being the house of the partner, Neptune in the 7th can mean
a Neptunian type of partner: sensitive, compassionate, soft, loving,
artistic and mystical. But sometimes also blurry, vague,
over-sensitive, impractical.
Neptune in the 7th can also mean that the relationships can have the
characteristics of Neptune. On the higher mode it can mean being
madly in love, a fusion type of union, boundless melting, spiritual
love, an alchemical marriage. It can also be self-sacrifice in
relationships.
Otherwise it can be based on deception and illusions, false
appreciation of the partner (the one you married is not the one you
thought), complicated and tortuous marriage developments. In any
case it is likely to be romantic.

10th house: Moon, Mars.

Moon in the 10th house:
The Moon in the house of career and what one achieves in the world
can indicate Moon-type activities, or even more a Moon-way of
conducting one's activities.
Moon way of conducting one's activities:
- relying on one's imagination, intuition and feeling to conduct
one's businesses
- using one's sociable nature
- working from home
Moon type activities:
- working with children, or even being a housewife
- working with women, or more generally with Moon-type people.
- working in the field of nutrition, cooking, catering
- nurturing, taking care of , nursing, 'dial an angel'
- dealing with lots of people (the Moon stands for multitude);
public occupations.
- psychic readings (selling one's intuitions)
- changing, mobile, activity.
Famous people with the Moon the 10th: Edgar Cayce, Salvador Dali,
Mahatma Gandhi.

Mars in the 10th house:
Mars' fire and stamina in the house of material activity and career
Energetic attitude to career. Need and impetus to achieve. Desire to
undertake tasks of a certain dimension. Entrepreneurial temperament.
Ambition, sense of competition.
If the native experiences their Mars force essentially on the
competitive level, this can bring him/her to situations of often
having to face confrontation in their professional life. If this
happens to be the case, the native should always ask themselves if
such conflict situations come from adverse external circumstances,
or from an inner attitude.
Note that every 18 months or so, when Mars transits the native's
10th house, there may be a period of a few weeks which is
particularly favourable for advancing in one's work and achieving a
lot.
On a deeper level, Mars in the house of 'doing things in the world'
is an aspect for will. Spiritually, it points towards the need for
the native to develop and exert their will in order to fulfil
themselves and reach their next evolutionary step.

11th house: Uranus, Black Moon.

Uranus in the 11th house:
This position can bring lots of Uranus type of friends (friends, and
in particular those who help you, are the domain of the 11th):
original, unconventional, eccentric, good at computers and
technology - and possibly interested in astrology or esotericism.
Friendships can start in a Uranus fashion: suddenly clicking with
people, or meeting in unusual and surprising situations. But they
can also finish as quickly as they started.
In the house of social realisations, the high ideals associated with
Uranus are at home (Uranus is the natural ruler of Aquarius and of
the 11th house). This can push the native towards projects and
actions oriented toward the community in general, possibly pushing
for changes. The progressive tendencies, however, are not always
supported by the practical abilities and the patience required to
bring about reforms of social institutions.

Black Moon in the 11th house:
Quest of perfection in friendship and need to match idealism with
reality.
Black Moon - Lilith's absolutism can lead the native to be extremely
selective - and also demanding - when it comes to friendship. There
is also a risk of projecting onto one's friends huge emotional
demands, and of unconsciously using relationships with them to work
one's deep emotional conflicts. At times, this can lead to feeling
betrayed by one's friends, especially when they find it difficult to
cope with the pressure that placed on them.
The need for absolute and perfection is also likely to bring the
desire to make great contributions to the collectivity - doing
something unique that would benefit humanity. This can lead to great
realisations, but it also calls for the necessity to cultivate
realism. Sometimes, by wanting to give only the best, one ends up
giving nothing at all.

Nth Node in the 2nd house and South Node in the 8th house:
South Node in the 8th house can indicate past lives in which the
values of the 8th house (magnetism, sex, the occult) have been
prominent.
The 8th house being the house of inheritance and the money one does
not earn, South Node in the 8th and North Node in the 2nd can
indicate that in past lives, the native did not have to worry about
securing their material sustenance. In this life, they have to learn
to generate their means of subsistence themselves.
Because the 8th is the house of sex, this position can also mean
that in past lives, the native has explored sexual energies in
depth, and that in this life the time has come to use the sexual
force in a transformed way. This axis 8th-2nd house can, in
particular, be a mighty configuration to work on the power of the
voice and the alchemical transformation of the larynx and the throat
chakra. These forces, however, are likely to be inconspicuous at
first, and may reveal themselves only after training. Perhaps having
a go at a voice training may bring surprising results for the
native.
